I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ' u7 {" x. U- |" |! d, O+ N+ Q . r% `* O( w; l1 R* oand I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here / v# A% N! j* G+ ajust that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
